I am a full-time educator from Los Angeles, CA.

I grew up as the oldest of four in a single-parent household. Vacations were never part of our reality. But that changed in 2022 when I booked a group trip to Costa Rica. I met 21 strangers, caught the travel bug, and realized how possible it really was.

Since then, I’ve visited different countries while working a full time 9–5. I use every bit of PTO, holiday, and school break I get. I take trips using credit card points I earn on everyday spending.
