I am a full-time educator from Los Angeles, CA.

I am the oldest of four and grew up in a single-parent household. We were low-income and never took family vacations. I didn’t think much about traveling until after I settled into my career. Everything changed in 2022 when I booked a group trip to Costa Rica. I met 21 strangers, caught the travel bug, and realized how possible traveling really is.

Since then, I’ve visited different countries while working a full time 9–5. I use every bit of PTO, holiday, and school break I get. I take trips using credit card points I earn on my normal expenses. You do not need to be rich to travel the world.
